Editorial Policy#

Purpose#

OutrightAttack.com publishes a cognitive-liberty charter, public-interest research, a critical archive, and literary commentary. Its role is to preserve sources, distinguish evidence states, correct errors, and make systems of cognitive power visible without sensationalizing harmful rhetoric.

Evidence states#

Public pages distinguish among primary source, authorial claim, authorial recollection, rhetorical claim, literary persona, documented fact, official finding, public allegation, expert interpretation, editorial interpretation, inference, disputed claim, unknown, hypothetical scenario, and fiction.

Author, persona, and editorial voice#

Michael Joseph Kappel, the historical author; Ghrisx, the enacted persona; the narrator of an entry; the present-day editorial voice; and a fictional or reconstructed speaker are not treated as interchangeable.

Corrections#

Substantive corrections preserve a visible revision record. Quiet typo repair is allowed when it does not change meaning. Factual, bibliographic, privacy, attribution, and evidence-state corrections are documented.

Current claims#

Time-sensitive claims are checked against current primary sources whenever they are presented outside a clearly labeled creative work. A claim in a supplied report or manuscript is not automatically treated as verified.

Conflicts and limitations#

The publication identifies author-supplied material, interpretation, and source limitations. It does not present self-analysis as independent scholarship or allow critical context to become automatic acquittal.
